Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love every Gift Box Detroit purchase. If something isn't quite right, here's how we can help:

Returns We accept returns on eligible items within 10 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and in original packaging. Because many of our gift boxes are curated and customized, certain items may be marked as final sale and are not eligible for return.

Exchanges If you'd like to exchange an item, please contact us within 10 days of delivery. We'll do our best to accommodate your request based on current inventory.

How to Start a Return or Exchange Reach out to us at Bunny@GiftBoxDetroit with your order number and reason for the return or exchange. Our team will provide instructions and a return shipping address.

Return Shipping Costs Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, damaged product, etc.).

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your order size, weight, and selected shipping method.


Local Pickup & Delivery

We offer local pickup and delivery for customers in the Detroit area. Details and availability will be presented at checkout. Please allow us adequate time to prepare your order before pickup.


Order Processing

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Please note that orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day. Delivery timeframes begin once your order has shipped, not when it is placed.


Shipping Confirmation

Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your gift every step of the way.

Damaged or Lost Packages

If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date at Bunny@GiftBoxDetroit.com. We'll work with you to make it right.

Damaged and Product Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
